T magazine: keri russell

There's a great interview with Keri Russell on the NYTimes' T Magazine blog today. She has a new show, The Americans on FX (haven't seen it) and a new horror movie. She has a been a favorite of mine from her Felicity days. Since then, she's became a mom and Brooklynite, and has a great, simple style.

Below are two street style shots.
First: oversized cream cable sweater with simple blue jeans with rips, Filson bag (she's a longtime Filson fan) and tortoise shades.
Second: all black including black socks with No.6 t-strap sandals in nude. Great contrast.

Style Inspiration: Jessa from GIRLS

Lately I've been re-watching the first season of Girls and have been inspired all over again by Jessa's miss-mash boho/hooligan style. I mean, who wears a bathrobe out? And makes it look good? A couple of pictures below of her different looks, the clothes are great but I also like the hair style and make up combinations with the outfits. Sometimes, lots of makeup and simple bun. Sometimes no makeup but hair in fishtails. And of course her season-ending wedding look, which was very rock star in my opinion.

Clemence Poésy on GG

Even though Gossip Girl hasn't started its new season, I have already had a good look at the fashion (which is the only reason the show is worth watching). I love the outfit that new character Clémence Poésy is wearing. Not only is she always super stylish in real life (French, after all) but they have her in a slightly boyish combination of sheer blouse and flirty skirt. Love it. Thought it was a great look during my jam-packed day.
