Fall Wish List

Sorry for the summer of no posting. Bought quite a few amazing things this summer. Will be putting together a retrospective. In lieu of that, I'm presenting my Fall list of wishes:

Objects without Meaning - I am loving this line and just purchased the Boy jean from Frances May. Now I have my eye on the OM hi-rise skinny:
I love this top, also from Objects without Meaning:

It's hard to not want a couple things from Rachel Comey, however out-of-reach they are. This jumpsuit is sold out almost everywhere despite the $645 price tag:
This RC turtleneck sweater is beautiful and something I'd have for years. Similarly pricey at $472. Both the jumpsuit and the sweater are made in NYC so that's something to consider with the price.

This list of course would not be complete without a couple items from my friends at No.6. I am loving the new platform base - tried it on while in NYC in july and thought it was much more wearable than i would have imagined, more comfortable even than the high heel or high wedge. I am inclined toward these pretty ones in the amazing new color Fawn:
And I have been on the hunt for a nice pair of wide-leg pants. These No.6 pants are really more palazzo pants but i am still thinking about it. They are at totokaelo:

And I love the new plaids from Creatures of Comfort's fall line, especially this dress available at Bird.

I tried the top version on when I was at Frances May but the fit wasn't for me. It's a great top though and I love the plaid flannel:

More to come soon... I have some bags I am eyeing as well.

Acne Gradient Jeans

Not sure what I think about these but something is strangely interesting. Feels very *new*...like the next thing. And gradient is very big for home goods: sheets, pillows, mugs.

Danish brand Hay's gradient sheets here:

Flex Degrade available at Acne and Steven Alan. $300.

A random pic I saw on Pinterest a couple weeks ago. It's a guy but still:

Stella kids!

After buying as much Stella McCartney for GapKids that I could get my hands on, I've been pretty bummed that the Spring collection was her last. Alas, she has answered my prayers. Stella McCartney kids launches November 3 online and in stores (her stores, I assume?) And, the BEST part - prices will be between $20 and $200. Check it out...

I am loving the peacoat, print bohemian dress, reindeer sweater dress, skinny jeans and the yellow wellies, of course! sign up to be on their list and see the cute video here: Stella Kids

madewell

So on my recent shopping trip to NYC, I scored at J.Crew's less ruffle-y sister brand, Madewell. My bounty included: perfect-fitting tight black ankle jeans, loose cuffed boyfriend jeans, two great striped tops, a cute plaid button-up and these awesome cropped black leggings with a gold zipper detail at the bottom. And my total was amazingly under $500. At Barneys, it wouldn't have even been under the $1000 mark.

Well I have been a little forlorn wearing any of these great items since there is no Madewell store here in Portland and none of the stuff has been available online (with the exception of a smattering at shopbop). ... Until now! what a nice surprise that Madewell's online store has just opened!

Check it out here: Madewell. And don't be put off by the kind of cheesy black&white photos. I think they are still working out the kinks on their image. Trust me, the clothes are good, both the fit and quality, and not a million dollars.

Here are a couple of my scores:

And I love these shorts too. Might have to place a "small" summer order.

If you can believe it, these denim leggings are from Urban Outfitters and are only $39. I love how the waistband is like leggings but how they still have back pockets like jeans. And the price is so good, you can afford to buy more than one color. And there are quite a few to choose from. Take a look here.
