Some amazing leggings just popped up on Creatures of Comfort. MM6 with an allover striped juxtaposed geometrically as if they were cut up and re-attached. A perfect legging to put together with simple dresses or wear as pictures with pop colors shoes. And kind of a steal at $135...I bet these sell out quickly.

And speaking of the shoes, from the Spring/Summer Woman by Common Projects, the red slip-on oxfords are just beyond words. I would like to look around and see if they come in black or maybe navy. As much as I love the red, I know they would be much more versatile in a darker color, especially because they are pretty pricey at $449.

Bags that POP

I have suddenly seen a few celebs with bright colored bags but not in the usual hues instead opting for "mellow" pop colors like canary yellow and turquoise. Here Nicole Richie on her way from the gym on a cold LA day with a new yellow YSL.

And supposed style icon Alexa Chung with an absolutely perfect turquoise Burberry bag while at LFW and of course front row at the Burberry show.

I love how both women wore simple but chic in all black outfits to put the focus all on the bag. Really makes them pop!

What is there to say? It's amazing to me that these are paparazzi shots and not from the pages of a real fashion spread. Sorry but it's the rare celebrity that can pull this off, supermodel or not. And she really makes me want to wear my vintage fur every day. And i heart the bag. Also definitely a vintage piece.

(And sorry for the lack of posting. My house is finally done so I'll be posting more. This spring feels like one of the better s/s seasons in a while...)
