Pijama out of Milan makes cases for ipads, iphones and macbooks. I first spotted them at Madewell, who only carries the ipad and iphone versions. Not only do they come in great fabrics but they are very well padded. And as much as I love the iWooly sold at Canoe, I really needed more padding in the very likely scenario that my bag gets dropped or otherwise jarred.

Oscars - my best dressed

 Jessica Chastain looked amazing in this Alexander McQueen dress that most likely looked a little scary on the rack. And loved that she wore her hair down. My best dressed.

 My number two of the night was definitely Milla Jovovich in Elie Saab Couture.

 And while I don't think I would ever wear this dress, as an overall look Michelle Williams killed it in Louis Vuitton (although I could've done without the bow detail on the waist).

 My honorable mention went to Rooney Mara in Givenchy couture. I do agree that it could've been tailored better for her, as many have commented. The back of the dress is nonetheless stunning.

As for Gwyneth Paltrow and her Tom Ford cape-dress -- I thought it was kind of adventurous but not really. Of all the dresses in the world...and she wears a cape?

Celine homage

It's hard not to lust after Celine right now, especially since it seems like a very short moment in time that Phoebe Philo is having there.  In other words, I would love to snap up one of her timeless designs because there's no telling when she will disappear into the abyss again.
